“Like many nurses, I had a severe back problem following an accident at work. I had years of problems with pain in my back and down my leg. The good times got less and less and the bad times became more frequent and for longer. Eventually I was in so much pain I couldn't walk and I had to use a wheelchair for 6 months prior to surgery. The pain was unbearable, and I was clock watching to see when I could take my next pain killer.”

“Surgery put me back on my feet, but I was still taking pain killers, until I began to take Chinese Herbs. After a few months I realised that the chronic pain was much better, I was forgetting to take pain killers because I wasn't in pain”. It was because of my own experience that I decided to study Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, (TCM). I have been fortunate to study and work in Beijing, China, with some of the most eminent professors in the field of Acupuncture and Herbs, and have seen tremendous results.”
I think that in the west, acupuncture has been seen mostly as a treatment for pain, but there is much more to this system. Traditional Chinese Medicine treats the whole person, TCM recognises the effects stress and emotion have on our health, well being and how we look."

Gill is now able to offer the benefits of both Eastern and Western medicine and technology, in her treatments in South Cheshire.
"My aim is to offer excellence, to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to experience better health naturally. To look and feel their best."
